Mr. Madpenny just gave me this great picture of him holding a sign for LinkDare.com to promote his website MadPenny.com
About Mr. Madpenny:
Hi,
I’m 8 years old. My name is Mr. MadPenny. I live in France, south of Paris, at the moment, but I am originally from Arkansas in the United States. I have also lived in Canada, Belize, and Germany. I like computers, Spore (games) SpongeBob, Dungeon Keeper, and animals. I like to bake cookies, cake, and pizza with my mom. I like to go fishing with my dad.
With my website I want to share some of my experiences with you. So have fun and enjoy.
Mr. Mad Penny
Ok, so he’s my kid. But you can get your link on here too! Send me a picture of you holding a sign or wearing a shirt that says link dare. Or do any of the other dares mentioned on the site. Dare you!

I’m up to 300 followers on Twitter. And @3bedroom did it for me. Do you get a prize? Yup! You made me happy, in a unique way.
About her: Mom of two. Recently moved to England. Military Wife. Lover of all God’s furry creatures. Contempt for a good number of people.
And here’s her blog
Think you can make me happy? Do something cool for me. Dare you! If it’s fantastic enough, I’ll post you on this special dare section.

Ok, this is to get you started! Take this interview, and send me your answers. I’ll link to your website for free. Below are my answers:
1. Where did you hear about LinkDare.com?
I made it up! Here’s the full story.
2. What ideas do you have for our site? I have lots of ideas, and I’m working on implementing them. Lots of cool stuff coming soon. Any dare suggestions? I’ll be adding a few in the next few days. Stay tuned!
3. Now on to you. Tell us about YOUR site. What is it called? Besides LinkDare.com I also own and run TheNewsBase.com my blog.
4. What is the main idea of your link? What are you selling, or what message do you want to get across? My blog is about a lot of things. My life traveling around the world and WWOOFing, gardening, cooking, books, and a bit of homeschooling stuff. I’ve also been blogging about blogging lately. You never know what you’ll find on there. One big message I have is that people should appreciate where their food comes from. North Americans and others in developed countries eat so much fake, processed food. We aren’t paying any attention to where it comes from or how it’s grown. And it’s going to cause us a lot of problems. I’m also just looking to connect with interesting people. I’ve traveled a lot and I like to share my story and find others who have experienced amazing things.
5. What are your goals for the next year or so ? I have a lot of personal goals for my site. I recently redesigned it and put more personality on. I’ve also been getting on Twitter and Facebook and really telling people about it. My goals for the site are more visitors, more content and comments, and more interaction.
6. What makes you stand out from the competition? What’s that special thing you’ve got that they don’t? This is a hard question (that’s why I threw it in there!) I like to think that my personality shines through on my site. I don’t want to be a dull, monotonous robot. I did that for the first year and a half. This last month, I’ve taken a different approach, and I’ve really seen the difference in my traffic and the interaction I’m getting.
7. What is one thing that most people don’t know about you or about your site? I’m a hypocrite at times.
I want to introduce people to real food and get away from mass-produced junk. But I’m a sucker for Cheetos!
8. Give us your link and a tag line TheNewsBase.com – Expat Life, Cooking, Books, Gardening, and Saving Money
