What would you wish for? Money? Happiness? Toys? World peace? Beauty? If you could truly have anything in the world? What would it be? Tell me. Maybe I can make it come true! Maybe someone who reads this can. Cast your (virtual) coin into the wishing well and make a wish by typing your answer in the comments below.
Don’t forget to put in the link to your website, blog, Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, etc. If you don’t have a website, please link to a friend, your favorite charity, a great band, the sport team you root for, your church, or whoever else you deem worthy.

Give a little, give a lot. As long as it comes from the heart.
December is a popular time for charities and giving donations. Why? It’s the last chance for individuals and businesses to make a donation to take off their taxes for the year (I’d rather give my money to charity than the government, too). It’s a time when the holiday spirit takes over and we feel like we should give back. And it’s a time when we want to take care of people, especially the poor and homeless, because it’s cold outside in many parts of the world. It’s a time that traditionally centers around food, children, gifts and family. If someone is missing any or all of those things, we want to help them out, cheer them up.
I know a lot of you have a cause that you’re involved in. And there are a lot of personal reasons why. So what charity do you support? What’s your story? Why is it important to you? And how can others help out? Why should we? Tell me everything!

Today’s photo is mine! That’s my sleepy boy, who got up too early just for presents.
The winter holidays are a time for special foods, whether turkey and dressing, cookies, candy and cakes, fruit and nuts, potato pancakes, or roasted goat.
What foods does your family eat during the holidays? I’d love to have your recipes, or just talk about your “feast” and what memories and meaning holiday food has for you.
Don’t forget to put in your blog, website, twitter or myspace in the website field. Don’t have a website? Feel free to link to a friend, your favorite charity, sports team, school, band, etc. Dare you!
If you’ve missed out on the advent calendar in the last few days, no worries! There’s plenty of time to participate. We have a poetry contest going on, too, and the prize is a free ad on the right (those 125 x 125 ones).
What is your favorite memory of the holidays? This can be something funny, sweet, sad, anything.
Tell me in the comments, and be sure to fill in your blog, twitter, myspace, or other website. Don’t have a website? No problem! Link to a friend, your favorite charity, sport team, school, whoever you want to support.
It’s not too late to check out the previous days in my advent calendar!
